spy images they caught the 2024 Buick Encore GX of North America without any camouflage, revealing its updated exterior. In this regard, the refreshed SUV is expected to debut sometime in 2023 with the new Buick logo as well as incorporating the brand’s new design language that was introduced on the Wildcat EV concept.
2024 Buick Encore GX Spy Images
First of all, the visual changes focus on the front end, which looks significantly more modern compared to the Buick Encore GX current. The subcompact model made its debut in 2019, so it’s only fitting that we get a mid-life update for 2023.
As recently revealed in photos of the long-wheelbase Encore GX in China, the facelifted crossover adopts LED lights slimmer with additional lighting units located in the air intakes of the bumper. The tapered nose features a grillless look and showcases the new three-shield logo of Buick. In reality, the grille was replaced with a large chrome-finished air intake mounted to the lower portion of the front bumper.
As for the profile, this remains unchanged, also adds new options for wheel designs and exterior colors. Changes to the rear are limited to the new Buick badging and lettering on the tailgate. No interior images are available, but it’s likely to feature an updated digital cockpit with a larger infotainment touchscreen and new software, as well as new trim options.
Engine train of the renewed Encore GX
It is expected that the 2024 Buick Encore GX Sport the current model’s powertrain lineup that includes 1.2-liter and 1.3-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engines generating 137 hp (139 PS) and 155 hp (157 PS), respectively. Both associated with one CVT gearbox that sends power to the front axle, while there is an AWD option with automatic transmission nine relations for the most powerful unit of 1.3 liters.
The facelifted Buick Encore GX could be the first production model in USA to carry the new Buick logo before it gradually rolls out to the entire model range.
