Frank Stephenson, prominent car designer creates his first watch (+ Images)


Frank Stephenson It has been throughout his career designing Ferrari, Maserati, McLaren, Mini and Fiat cars, but he has stepped out of his comfort zone to create limited edition watches.

“It’s the old adage ‘car people are watch people’, so it was a natural fit for me to get creative with watches too.”, he comments Stephenson. . “It was very nice to design COSMOS and I am proud to present it to all the enthusiasts.”

The designer has become a Youtube personality and was associated with Time Concepts to create these space-inspired Cosmos watches. The shape of the product is inspired by the gentle flow of the stellar winds, while the sphere of speckled granite of the clock is intended to evoke the starry sky.

The three mencillas appear to float around, spinning in what is described as a black hole, although the general appearance is reminiscent of the dials of a Third generation Mercedes C-Class.

Numbers are printed in a stylized font with thick ink superluminous that shines at night A Miyota Japanese quart movement helps ensure the dials always point to the correct number.

The case is made of stainless steel and the silicone rubber strap with custom buckle, quality materials. The product is sold at a reasonable price of $250.


The first in a trilogy of watch series that Stephenson plans to design, they will be inspired by air, sea and land.
