Polestar opens a showroom made of snow (Images)

In Rovaniemi, Finland there is a new Polestar showroom which is a masterpiece and a real eye-catcher.

It is a showroom completely covered in snow and with a scandinavian design.

Is a 39 foot cube of height that is in the kansalaistori square and was built by Frozen Innovation, a company specializing in the subject that has made bars and hotels of this type. To complete the work, he needed 20 days to build it.

They were transported from 3,000 cubic meters of snow, in electric trucks, from the station Ounasvaara skiing. The team then took it upon themselves to transform that ice into a Polestar showroom.

Taavi Heikkila, CEO of Frozen Innovation he explained that it was a complex process where a “protective layer of snow” was created around the base of the showroom.

Next, special molds were placed for the walls, which were filled with compacted snow. With the walls in place, the molds were removed and total touches were added by installing artist-made oil sculptures.

Installation is a Polestar space at work where guests can learn more about the company and its cars. Also, they can be done test drive with a Polestar 2.

This “Snowroom” opened its doors on January 10 and will remain until February 26.
