The recently launched brand of BYDYangWang introduced its first vehicle in China, a luxury jeep electrical denominated Yang Wang U8 With robust appearance, quad motor and sophisticated technology to improve the ability in difficult terrain.

The U8 seems to be inspired by the Land Rover Defender, but adopting a unique style of YangWang. Among its outstanding features are the LED headlights with illuminated grille, square fenders and square wheel arches on 20-inch wheels, as well as flush door handles and futuristic LED taillights.

For now, the interior has not been seen, but if you see the camouflaged prototypes, you can see them a digital instrumentation and one infotainment touch screen.

The SUV is based on a ladder architecture, with a wheelbase of 3,050mm and 5,300mm, figures similar to the Defender 130.

It remains to be known the capacity that the battery Blade will give this model and how it makes use of technology “yisifang” developed in-house for the four-engine powertrain.

The U8 will produce 295-322 HP Y 320-420Nm of torque, which will give a total of more than 110 HP. That power allows the vehicle to be moved from 0 to 62 mph in 3 seconds.

BYD has revealed that the YangWang will be priced between ¥800,000 and ¥1,500,000 ($116,272 – 218,011). This specific model is speculated with a ¥ 1,000,000 ($145,340).
