Chile: Driver loses control of his car and ends up submerged in the Loa river in Calama

Preliminary investigations determined that the driver would have lost control of the vehicle, just at the moment he was leaving the area.

Around midnight this Wednesday, February 1, a car was left at the bottom of the Loa river in Calama, region of Antofagasta.

This vehicle ended up there, after a group of friends went to the aforementioned flow, located in the Lomas Huasi sector and bridge Topater.

The network PITV Calama Noticias mentions that “It was at a time when the occupants of the white vehicle were betting to withdraw from the banks of the Loa River, that in the maneuver to turn around, the driver would have lost control, rushing into the river.”
