Last Wednesday there was a high-speed collision between cars on the toll road Sam Rayburn, Dallas Texas. The incident was recorded by a dashboard camera and the person responsible was arrested hours later by the police. The authorities suspect that he was driving intoxicated.
The incident was reported by the account of DFW Scanner noting that the Fire Department, EMS and police were working in a “major accident.” They also announced that EMS was transferring a person to Medical City Lewisville.
In the clip you can see a Corvette yellow and a Ford Mustang speeding past the camera. At that moment they approach a Hyundai occupying a third lane.
The Mustang invades the third lane as well, but seems to make no attempt to evade the Hyundai and rear-ends. As a result of the crash, the Ford turned left and crashed into the Chevrolet, throwing it into the ditch on the side.
The Texas Department of Safety says both sports cars were in a race at the time of the crash. They also notified that the driver of the Mustang, Jordan Brown escaped from the place. The police confirmed that he was traveling intoxicated and now they face six charges for the accident.

Corvette passengers ended up in critical condition and were later stabilized. The driver of the Hyundai was treated at the scene and released.
“I heard the cars before I saw them. Like, my car just shook. So I looked to my right, I saw two cars running. I’m thinking, ‘What idiots. Why are they driving so fast?‘” commented the person who recorded the video. Charles Washington. “Within a second or two, I saw them crash.”
