Ford Transit Courier spied for the first time with production bodywork

The Ford Transit Courier, the smallest version of the Transit is celebrating its ninth year on the market this 2023. The firm commemorates the date by preparing a new product, as shown by the next generation spy images of the vehicle in its production body being tested in Germany.

It is the second time that the Transit Courier has been captured, but it is the first time that it has its Production bodywork and lights. In this case its body is squarer and the front fascia is sharper. In fact, it has certain similarities with a Smaller Connect Tournament.

The new Transit Courier will be assembled at Ford’s Craiova in Romania, where the Puma crossover is also built. Van and crossover will have electric versions and Ford wants a battery variant of all its LCVs until the middle of the decade.

The Transit Courier EV joins the Custom Tournament with a bacterium 74 kWh for a range of approx. 230 miles.

For now there is no official information on the truck, but it is believed that it receives a modified version of the Puma platform, which is based on the current Fiesta. Combustion and electric mills are planned, but there is not much to say about them. However, it is likely an EcoBoost of 1.0 liters be the mid-engine before the electrified version.

The new Transit Courier will continue to be a exclusive matter of Europe, as it is too small for American preferences.
