The expected Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato will debut on November 30 at Art Basel in Miami Beach, Florida, in USA. And just days after the premiere, the manufacturer has shared a advancement that shows the original concept of the Huracan Sterrato.
“The Sterrato is one of the projects closest to my heart,” said Rouven Mohr, Technical Director of Automobili Lamborghini.
He added that: “We were testing in Nardò on the ‘Strada Bianca’ and some of us had the idea to also drive an old and modified Huracán on this dirt track. In the evening, after the first test, I had dinner with Maurizio Reggiani and Mitja. Borkert and we developed the idea of creating a car halfway between the Huracan and the Urus. The goal was not so much to create an off-road vehicle but rather an unprecedented supercar for all surface conditions. So, we built the prototype. A truly amazing car – great fun to drive on dirt roads and with a true rally set-up. Now, I am proud to see the final version born, which will also make our customers very happy.
Advance shows original concept of Huracan Sterrato
The sterrato concept debuted in June 2019. Back then, Lamborghini He assured that he had no plans to build the model. The special Huracan featured a 1.85-inch (47-millimeter) higher ride height than the original. The front and rear tracks were 1.18 inches (30 millimeters) wider, and the fenders covered the wider stance. In addition, the 20-inch wheels had taller sidewalls and a thicker tread pattern giving better off-road traction than the usual rubber of the street-focused supercar.
The concept used the 640 Hp (477 kilowatts) naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 from the Huracan Evo. I also employ all wheel drive with torque vectoring and four-wheel steering.
Lamborghini made the sterrato made it more capable in difficult conditions by reinforcing the front frame and side skirts. Skid plates protected mechanical components. The body also featured a pair of LED light bars up front and a wider one on the roof.

The sterrato With production specs it looks a little different than the concept. Particularly, the light bar on the roof is gone. In its place, the company fitted a grill and scoop to direct air to the engine. The rear fascia is slanted up at a steep angle for an aggressive look that should also improve the departure angle.
There are still no pictures of the interior of the production Sterrato. The concept, according to Motor1, featured a titanium roll cage, four-point harnesses, carbon seats and aluminum floor panels.
The sterrato of production will be the last Lamborghini which will use a naturally aspirated combustion engine without any hybrid assistance. The power output of the mill remains a mystery. Like the concept, the model is expected to come with all-wheel drive. We will know this for sure on November 30, when he makes his official debut on supercar from the Italian manufacturer.
