In September of last year, the Chrysler300C 2023 as the brand’s last HEMI-powered model ever. The sedan with a 6.4-liter V8 was limited to just 2,000 units and all sold out within 12 hours of order books opening. According to the information in the dealer documents, MopartInsiders informs that the brand will also launch a 300S version Chrysler’s most affordable sedan for the 2023 model year. It’s supposed to get Chrysler’s 5.7-liter V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and sending power to the rear wheels. This less powerful model can also be equipped with features like heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, advanced driver assistance systems, and others.

Like the 300C, and according to the report, 2023 Chrysler 300S production will be very limited. According to the online post, 1,450 examples of the V8-powered model will be assembled, making it even rarer than the range-topping 300C.

It should be noted that Chrysler will also sell a version of the 300S equipped with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine rated at 300 Hp (220 kW) and 264 lb-ft (358 Nm) of torque. However, this more affordable version is slower than the 300S and 300C: 7.1 seconds to 60 mph (96 km/h) versus 5.3 and 4.3 for the 300S and 300C, respectively.

According to available information, the 300S V8 will start at US$50,975 with destination charges included. The 300S V6, in turn, will be cheaper at $43,750 before options. For comparison, the 300C started at $56,595 including destination, making it the most expensive 2023 Chrysler 300. Additionally, production of the 300S V6 will be limited to 850 units.
