The Audi Q7 With a gasoline engine, it had been practically forgotten after the appearance of multiple EV e-trons, but the spacious SUV will have a new generation, as shown by the new spy images of the prototype that will be a facelift.

The second generation of Audi Q7 was introduced in 2015 based on the MLB platform, with a facelift in 2019. Typically, a new generation would appear in 2023-2024, but Audi opted for a facelift before ending internal combustion cars .

The spied vehicle has a light camouflage that hides the styling changes that focus on the front area. The highlights are the headlights with a simpler shape that embraces the revised singleframe grille.

Also new LED graphics that make it look like a Q8 or an e-tron SUV. The chrome-finished vertical slits were replaced by a pattern with a more modern black finish, the front bumper has slimmer air intakes on the sides.

On the sides it remains identical to the existing model, taking advantage of the original simple design with 8 years on the market. The illuminated rear area on the tailgate and bumper looks like it’s carried over from the 2019 facelift. Changes are limited to a different design on the lower section of the rear bumper.

Inside, expect software improvements and the addition of more ADAS as well as connectivity features. Powertrain upgrades are a mystery, though the focus is likely on electrification.

The facelifted Audi Q7 is estimated to debut in 2024 along with the mechanically related updated Q8.
