On Monday, January 9, the vehicle overturned and rolled towards a trainaccording to reports, at the hands of a mechanic, and not the owner. The video shows a dark red MkIV Supra pulling away from the vehicle on camera before losing traction. The cameraman then fails to catch the actual crash on video, but does catch the last part where the Supra is seen breaking to pieces as it crashes into a train that is not moving. Mechanic crashes Toyota Supra Mk4 during test drive According to The Drive sources, the cameraman is Trey Grube. He states that the driver of the Supra was a mechanic in a car workshop local and that he was "completely fine" despite being thrown from the vehicle in the accident. Englewood police confirmed to The Drive that the driver was not the registered owner. That is a bad look for any shop to be responsible for such reckless driving and the ultimate demise of a toyota supra classic. According to some Internet users, the store in question may be Bespoke Motorsports in Englewood, CO. A member of the Colorado Car Spotters Facebook group posted several photos of the accident and seemed to imply that it was the store owner, not an employee, who crashed the vehicle. Other users also shared more information about the Supra. View this post on Instagram A post shared by F1 Coyote (@f1_coyote) For one thing, this Supra is said to have only 17,000 miles (27,358 km) on the clock and boasted close to 900 hp (671 kW). That might provide some indication as to why said driver couldn't drive the car when he was traveling on a straight road. Mechanic crashes Toyota Supra Mk4 during test drive As one of the early posts on the vehicle points out “when you play in Colorado during the winter…”, which leads to how difficult it can be to maintain stability when the roads are cold. So much power and limited traction can lead to bad things when the driver isn't skilled enough to handle it especially at driving in winter. @dustanladelle #supra #supracrash #supramk4 #fail #fails ♬ original sound – Dustan LaDelle IT MAY INTEREST YOU: The 3 Most Reliable Toyota Trucks to Buy Used Toyota finds a solution to prevent theft of catalytic converters in several of its models Font: carscoops
