The stolen vehicle is the same one in which weeks after the crime a robbery detective was shot. Woman accused of stealing car on Tinder date According to the authorities, Cárdenas agreed to meet the victim in the parking lot of Top Golf, which is located in Miami Gardens, during hours on November 20 at 1:00 am. Once there, the woman talked the victim into parking at a nearby apartment complex. At that moment, while they were talking, she started sending messages from her phone. It was at one point that the victim told him that he had to urinate, so he got out of the vehicle in order to relieve himself in some bushes. Upon returning to the vehicle, he was ambushed by two individuals dressed in black, who pointed their firearms at him. The suspects ordered the victim to unlock her cell phone and then fled the site, along with Cárdenas. At that moment the driver of the vehicle, whom they identified as Gabriel Góngora, 20 years old, shot the detective, being wounded by a bullet fragment in the face.
