Tesla Model Y color Quicksilver shows its details in the paint shop

Tesla models have been challenged over the years for flaws in the exterior paint. In fact, the famous automotive engineer sandy munro I declare that “would fire the guy in charge and during the lockdown would have set up a whole new paint shop”.

Now things have improved and this is demonstrated by the owners, bloggers, vloggers and experts in the field who express their opinions online.

In addition, Elon Musk announced that the gigafactory in Berlin, Germany, would have “the most advanced paint shop in the world”, thanks to the publication of @Thirionremi you can see the new quicksilver paint in a ModelY at a service center in Frankfurt.

A striking appearance is observed for the car, with various silver tones, depending on how the light hits the surfaces. At some angles it appears to be chrome rather than painted.

It is also noted the Midnight Cherry Red recently detailed, which gives it an attractive showcase of the paint shop in Berlin, where exclusive work is carried out for this model.

Both colors are expensive, with 300 euros requested for the Quicksilver and 3,200 euros for Midnight Cherry Red paint. Other paints range from zero to 1,600 euros.

This isn’t the first time I’ve spotted a Model Y at Quicksilver. Last November, a model with this color and white interior was seen in the parking lot of the Gigafactory in Berlin, which makes it clear that Tesla works with this paint at that plant.
