This is because the importer of alpineNicole Automobiles, commissioned only four custom examples of the B4 Gran Coupe for the Japanese market. Each model has been equipped with a specific set of 20-spoke wheels, an Alpina classic, now owned by bmw. These wheels complement the only two colors available for the Japanese market: Fire Orange and Frozen Black Metallic.
Alpina B4 Gran Coupe in Japan
Two examples of the Fire Orange B4 Gran Coupe are found. One with a set of gold Alpina Classic multi-spoke wheels and the steering wheel on the left side of the vehicle. And the other with a black 20-inch set and right-hand drive.
The more subtle Frozen Black Metallic models feature a similar setup, though the classic black wheels are replaced with a set of anthracite.
The four units of Alpina B4 Gran Coupe Exclusive to Japan, they have the same specifications, such as black Merino leather upholstery, Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, Velor floor and mats, black wood trim, and various elements of the Bavarian brand.
Additionally, they all sport the 3.0-liter inline-six engine that is capable of generating 495 Hp (364 kW) and 538 lb-ft (729 Nm) of torque. These numbers are sent to the wheels through an eight-speed automatic gearbox. With these figures, the B4 Gran Coupé can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Top speed is 187 mph (301 km/h).
The four Alpina B4 Gran Coupe units are located at various BMW and Alpina dealerships within the East Asian country. It is worth mentioning that, with only four units on offer, Nicole Automobiles will select the buyer through a raffle.
