The Chicago-based 18-year-old salesman USA, was the protagonist of the embarrassing incident after carrying out a driving test with two clients on board. The biggest loser was the car, a 2012 BMW X6 M, ending up in a rather unnatural position, as can be seen in the video.
The seller, named Vladyslav Vityk, was driving the powerful German SUV around Elmhurst; however, he ended up losing control near Junior Terrace. What is not clear for now is how he managed to leave the car that way, what is known is that the X6 M slid through the front yard of a house before crashing into its garage.
“I was just sitting in my office working. I heard a loud bang and the corner of the house flew. So, I think someone lost control of their car and entered our house. A few feet in front of me,” Eric Bowgren, the home’s owner, told CBS News.
The images captured after the accident show that the property suffered some significant damage, since on its way, the German utility also knocked down a fence. Meanwhile, the BMW X6 M was badly damaged in the crash where it suffered front and side damage, as well as losing a wheel and a tire.
In the aftermath of the accident, police arrested Vityk and charged him with reckless driving, improper lane use, disobeying a traffic control device, and driving too fast. The aforementioned seller was not injured as was the owner of the house, however, the passengers who were in the vehicle had to be transferred to Edward-Elmhurst Hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries.
