The 2023 lineup sports a 192-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder and 252-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors that combine to make 204 hp.. The old 252-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter without power assist dropped out of the lineup for this model year. Also, like previous models, the Accord still doesn’t offer all-wheel drive.
The steering is light, as befits a car of this class. Its ride is tightly controlled but never harsh, helping it strike a winning balance between a sporty sedan and a practical family car. So the 2023 Accord remains as refined and fun to drive as ever.
2023 Honda Accord: Real World Fuel Economy and MPG
The 2023 Accord Hybrid is good for 51 mpg city and 48 mpg highway, according to the EPA. Fuel economy numbers for the non-hybrid Accord have not yet been released, but are expected to align with those of the outgoing 2022 model, rated up to 30 mpg city and 38 mpg highway with the 1.5-liter turbo engine and four cylinders.

Its interior is incredibly roomy, and rear-seat passengers in particular will be happier in an Accord than in almost any other midsize sedan. Accord’s cabin sports a sleek design with cues from the latest new Hondas to help tie them in with family DNA. Honda has redesigned the Accord’s front seats to support torsos more firmly and shaped the trunk to hold up to 16.7 cubic feet of cargo. Except for LX, EX and Sport models that come with cloth upholstery, all others come with leather.
The Accord’s interior storage space is middle of the road in this class, and its interior storage setup isn’t as useful or thoughtful as those of the Accord. Honda Civic or the Hyundai Ionicfor example.
Honda Accord 2023: Infotainment and connectivity
All models come standard with a standard 10.2-inch digital gauge display along with either a 7.0- or 12.3-inch upright touchscreen for the infotainment system.. Bluetooth and USB connectivity are also available across the board, as is the ability to Apple Car Play Y Android Auto. But for models with a 12.3-inch screen they provide wireless connectivity for those functions.
Honda offers a 10-speaker premium audio system with a 450-watt amplifier on the EX-L, but smaller Accords have a four- or 8-speaker system. Touring models come with a wireless smartphone charging pad, 6.0-inch head-up display and 12-speaker Bose stereo system.
