They say the fastest car in the world is a rental car, so when you combine a rental vehicle and a lot of power, you can end up in a dangerous situation. A 32-year-old man in Switzerland discovered it earlier this month when he was allegedly drunk lose control and Destroy a Lamborghini Huracan rented.
The driver was from Zurich and, with a passenger, was traveling to Bern, a 76-mile (122 km) journey, in a rented Lamborghini Huracán convertible, reports polizei.news. However, less than halfway through the journey from him, near Suhr, Switzerland, the driver lost control and veered off the road.

While the precise reason for the loss of control is unknown, photos shared by police show the car on a grassy shoulder next to the road, behind a guardrail. Another photo shows tire tracks coming off the road just before the guardrail begins, sliding up the shoulder and then back down.

Fortunately, none of the occupants of the Lamborghini was injured in the accident that took place around 9:00 p.m. However, the Hurricane was not so lucky. And it is that, it suffered extensive damage to the front quarter on the driver’s side, which was almost completely torn off in the accident.
As for what led to the driver losing control, the Aargau canton police found that the 32-year-old driver was heavily intoxicated at the time of the accident and prosecutors ordered a blood test.
After the accident, their driver’s license was temporarily revoked, and they will surely have a very difficult time renting another vehicle any time soon. At least they can take solace that no one got hurt on this adventure on wheels.
