Until the next hypercar arrives Ferrari, the electrified SF90 Stradale remains the flagship of the Maranello range. But while we wait for the brand to introduce an extreme variant in 2023, one design student envisioned the next generation of the PHEV supercar as a Ferrari SF100 Concept digital only.

The concept was created by @ur_jeen, who studies Automotive Design at Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea. At first glance, the proportions of the SF100 are very similar to those of the SF90, but a closer look reveals that both supercars have nothing in common.

At the front, the design student opted for a simpler style for the nose and tails. LED lights. The bumper has smaller inlets but a more pronounced chin. The highlight of the SF100 is the glass top with no separation between the windshield and the roof, which would pose a challenge for a possible Spider version.

The profile retains the bulging front and rear fenders, but has different side intakes that don’t look quite as polished as the current SF90. The mirrors are presumed to be replaced by cameras, while the five-spoke alloy wheels with yellow-painted calipers sport an OEM look.

The tail is perhaps the coolest part of the digital concept. The rounded square shape of the SF90’s LED taillights has been turned into four independent lines, with an active rear wing above them. The glass engine cover is the centerpiece of the rear deck, while the narrow rear windscreen has a curve similar to Ferrari models of the past. The diffuser is more discreet than on the SF90, integrating dual tailpipes and an F1-style brake light, escorted by large air vents in the rear bumper.

The young designer did not go into detail regarding the concept’s fictitious powertrain and specifications beyond stating that it retains a PHEV configuration. Judging by the recently unveiled Ferrari Vision GT Concept, the Italian manufacturer’s electrified offering could produce up to 1,016 hp with the twin-turbo V6 engine and a further 322 hp (240 kW / 326 PS) with a trio of electric motors. This is an improvement compared to the combined output of 986 hp (735 kW / 1,000 PS) of the standard SF90, which is already more than enough.
